Experience the Academy Standard
Our August Residential is designed to give players a true insight into the life of a Professional Academy scholar. Led by a Lead Coach from the professional academy circuit, this is an environment where players are pushed to improve every aspect of their game—technically, physically, and mentally.
This is more than just a camp; it is a space for players to mature as athletes. We focus on developing Technical Mastery and Game Intelligence, providing a high-level setting that encourages independence and professional discipline. With a strict 1:5 staff-to-player ratio, we ensure every individual is supported by a team of UEFA-licensed coaches and professional welfare staff.

National Exposure & The Double-Report System
This is the core of the PitchYourSkills USP. We don’t just provide a platform; we provide a professional roadmap. The week culminates in our National Showcase Finale, featuring a guaranteed panel of 16+ Scouts from Professional Academy Clubs across the UK.
Our Unique Double-Report System:
- On-Site Physical Development Report: Before the final whistle on the last day, every player will receive a physical report from our lead coaching staff. This provides immediate, honest feedback on their performance, technical skills, and tactical understanding throughout the week.
- Digital Scout Grading Report: Delivered 5 days post-camp, this comprehensive report provides a deep-dive assessment based on the grading criteria used by academy scouts.
This dual approach ensures players leave with a clear understanding of their current level and the specific steps needed to reach the professional game.

FAQ
What happens if my son is unwell or injured?
With our strict 1:5 staff-to-player ratio, your son is always supported. We have a dedicated on-site Welfare Officer and an Academy Physio to manage all health and sports-related needs. We follow strict medical protocols and will notify parents immediately of any issues. For anything more serious, Harrow School is located a stone’s throw from local hospital facilities.
Can my son share a room with a friend?
Sharing a room is a core part of the Academy experience. If your son is attending with a friend or sibling, you can request a shared room during the booking process and we will do our best to accommodate this. However, we also encourage sharing with a new teammate; it’s a great way to build new friendships and the social bonds essential for a successful squad.
Do you provide airport transfers for international players?
What is the policy on mobile phones?
To ensure players are fully focused on their development and the “Academy Standard,” phone use is restricted during daytime training and workshops. Players will have access to their phones during specific evening windows to catch up with home and relax. Parents will be provided with a 24/7 emergency contact number for our Welfare Team at all times.
When will we receive the Scout Grading and Coach Feedback?
Every player will receive their Physical Coach Feedback Sheet on-site by the final day of camp for immediate reflection. The Comprehensive Digital Scout Grading Report (from our 16+ scout panel) will be emailed to your registered address within 5 days after the camp concludes.
What does my son need to bring? (Kit & Clothing)
Your son should bring his own match boots, shinpads, and casual clothing for downtime. Every player is provided with official PitchYourSkills training gear. To give the boys a true professional experience, our on-site team will wash and prepare their training kit every morning, ensuring they are ready for the elite load ahead.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
To secure our elite venue and staff, all bookings include a non-refundable deposit. We offer a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of booking and a Transfer of Spot policy if your child can no longer attend. Full details are available in our Terms & Conditions.
